Carbon/Silicon

Fans of The Clash, Big Audio Dynamite, and Generation X might be interested in Carbon/Silicon. Though they haven't yet made a splash in the US, they are making some waves in the UK. The band features Mick Jones and Tony James as the main writers. Their website features plenty of downloads ( listening to War on Culture right now and it's fab) as does their fan site. The music is rock and roll, but it's not as blistering as the earlier acts. Still, it's fine quality. I'd recommend a spin, but with mp3s that's not necessary. *Sigh* what we gain in convenience we lose in aesthetics.
