Dickie's Art Postings

It's Friday and I'm presenting another week of art postings. Hopefully, you'll find some of these to your liking.

Walkcycle is some fabulous work, much of it whimsical depictions of a variety of modern characters. You'll find both computer art as well as paintings on this site - don't forget to scroll to the bottom for the paintings links...they are fantastic.

Shag takes on a rather retro feel to illustrations. There's nothing particularly revelatory here, but if you like the sort of retro exotica, then this might be up your alley.

The Can is a collaborative art novel. Being a collaboration, the work is all over the map in style. It's a great way to get introduced to a lot of different artists. One thing they all seem to have in common is a twisted sense of humor.

Calef Brown is part Miro and part Matisse and all wonderful.

Michael Bartalos does graphics design work producing his own books - I really like the FAX book - as well as covers for magazines and prints.
