Gizmodo is reportedly showing screen shots of a nascent Google Operating System. It's a light weight system for Linux that offers a file manager, email tools, and a browser. It's a bit buggy at the moment, but it hasn't been released widely yet either. It is doing pretty well at plug and play components, though not yet perfect. This could provide the Linux folkx with something to cheer about and give Microsoft some real competition in that market.
Let's hope it's not a hoax.
