Letterman versus O'Reilly

In what has to be the most political statements that I've ever heard David Letterman make outside of a monologue, he took on Bill O'Reilly in an interview on his show. Letterman usually spends his time chatting up his guests and making them look good, but he was after O'Reilly from the get-go. Here's a quote:
I have the feeling that 60% of what you say is crap.

One could note that Letterman is only stating the obvious. Still, it's a good video. (Quicktime, 11 minutes, 12MB).

Lovely. (I couldn't open it, but the clip was up on cbs, http://www.cbs.com/latenight/lateshow/#.) It seemed like O'Reilly was making a total ass of himself, but awarding himself all the points.

It is amazing the way guys like O'Reilly quote all these bizarre things, report their prejudices as fact, then demand proof when you disagree with them. "Bill, the world is round." says I. "Prove your liberal politically correct position." says the inqisitor.
