Blair supports Kerry

Despite all of his praise for Bush, Tony Blair has announced that his government supports Kerry's election to president. So, now we know which government was among those that Kerry has stated would prefer to see him as president and it turns out to be one that supported Bush's efforts in Iraq. Kerry was often criticized for stating that some foreign governments wanted to see him elected. He was asked many times which governments might wish that by Republicans who cynically wanted the answer to be either France or Germany or another country who did not support the Iraq war. Hopefully this will quiet those critics.

It should come as no surprise that the Labor Party should favor a Democratic U.S. President. Labor's policies are more in line with the Democrats. The Tories typically favor Republicans.
