Mount St. Helens

Yes, the volcano is likely to blow, soon. I just heard on the morning news that it's been upgraded to very active. A lot of earthquakes are being reported. Here's a volcano cam, though it's VERY foggy there this morning, so it's pretty useless now. However, hopefully it will brighten up later in the day and provide us with some good pictures. Seattle is in no danger from Mount St. Helen's. Air flow in the upper atmosphere is in a southerly directing, so most of the ash will probably head towards Portland, where the mayor is asking people to review emergency procedures and to learn from the lessons they got when the mountain erupted last time.
