Jack Cafferty on Boehner

Crooks and Liars has a screen capture (Quicktime file link) of CNN's Jack Cafferty reporting on the new House Majority Leader, John Boehner. It turns out that Boehner accepted $157,000 worth of free trips (paid for by lobbyists) since 2000 AND rents his apartment from a lobbyist who has clients with legislation that goes through Boehner's committee. Some reformer. It ends with this exchange between Wolf Blitzer and Cafferty:

Wolf: You did hear Ed Henry say that it is a basement apartment which is not necessarily all that desirable---

Cafferty: Yea...and pigs fly upside down and the moon is made of green cheese and there's no quid pro quo from a lobbyist who is also your landlord. Do I look like I just fell out of the back of a vegetable truck to you?

Damn! Where that man been all my life, I want to marry him!

Ah, there may yet be hope for the media with voices like that given airtime. What? What's that you say? Jack Cafferty has been issued a jacket armored with cash and reassigned to the Iraq city beat? Thanks CNN!
